    Funny you should ask that question. A buddy of mine on another forum just found out that his DMPS .308 uses a shorter buffer so a standard length AR buffer wouldn't work. The stock buffer was also WAY too light and the recoil was very heavy. He bought a replacement from a guy on ARFCOM that custom makes buffers. Here's the link to his thread.

    Since you stated you have an AR10T you should be fine though. I have on as well and swapped out my buffer tube for a standard AR rifle buffer tube and used a Magpul PRS stock so your carbine tube and CTR stock should work just fine.
