Don't know if foreign militarized run the SR15 but you can do a search and find several threads about the m110/sr25 and see photos of the Italians and our special operations running KAC guns. A family member in the secret service is issued and runs the SR16 so there's a US based user for you. I love KAC and run the SR15 E3 and SR25 ECC. They use proprietary parts and you pay for the R&D but it's well worth it.
Leave the guns...bring the cannolis.

KAC is cool stuff but as mentioned earlier, the price and the fact that the bolt and barrel extension are proprietary are real disadvantages in some people's eyes. The KAC parts aren't the easiest in the world to find either. I owned an SR15 and ended up getting rid of it... it wasn't that it wasn't a great rifle, it was just that I wanted to do stuff that I couldn't (or didn't want to attempt) with that rifle. I wasn't really into the URX II rail either... not terrible but the built in front sight was super solid and I do like T-marks. I think price is the biggest factor. There are so many rifles out there that are accurate and will be rock solid for 10s of thousands of rounds that you can save money and remain just as effective with another manufacturer.
When my brother would come back from Iraq he sometimes had some KAC stuff. He sold most of it but gave me a set of rail covers from KAC. Nothing special really, but they cost $25 a piece to replace. From what my brother said they make nice stuff. I remember when he would come back on leave, he always had the coolest stuff. He always had a pile of MRE's too. He thought they tasted pretty good. I thought they weren't have bad either. Of course we both have had some pretty bad food before
I still have some t-shirts he got while he was there. My favorite is the Sandstorm Lounge t-shirt, serving warm beer and cold chow. We lost him in 2010. These are things that I will never get rid of. Thanks for bringing up some great memories guys.

My inner KAC fanboy has to come out also and feels the need to make a slight correction
You are correct on the Block I SBR but, the Block II also has the same upper and the difference between the two is that the II has the ambi lower vs a standard Vero Bch marked lower that came on the Block I.
The Block III is the current one being sold with the Midlength URX II/ambi lower and KAC only release 100 each of the Block 1' and Block 2's...
I'm about to see some KAC... I just pulled the trigger on an SR15 LPR, but I'll have to wait 60-90 days for it to come in. I have a BCM mid-length, but this will be my first KAC.
