The TRP is ready to coat. No more grinding, polishing, shaping, etc.
The stuff I did aside from the obvious cosmetic stuff was:
Full Cylinder and Slide ignition kit.
Extra Wilson extractor fitted for when the stocker wears out.
EGW oversize FP stop fitted to eliminate extractor clocking.
EGW Single Side Safety
Wilson Beavertail fitted cause the stock one was hollow and couldn't be ground on much.
S&A standard MSH
10-8 Slide Stop
10-8 Mag Release
VZ square bottom grips which I then contoured to my liking.
Obviously, nothing wrong with most of the stock stuff in the TRP but I'm a freak so I figured why not. The EGW Firing Pin stop is IMO necessary as the stock one is really undersize. The ergonomic stuff was purely personal choice. The ignition kit is just because Cylinder & Slide's stuff is beautiful.
I also polished the breech face, feed ramp, barrel throat and all that. When it gets coated I'll have to make sure the guy who's doing it doesn't blast those. I'll most likely mask the breech face where the rounds slide up and down and coat the upper section as well as the feed ramp. Any of you master pistolsmiths who want to opine feel free. I'm all for ideas on that.
