What is the best ammo for this rifle? I don't want to go through 20 different brands to see what's working. What are you guys shooting and recommending for this rifle.
Thank you.

Thank you.
I get consistent sub 1/2 moa groups at 100 yds with 168 gr federal gold medal match. I got my all time best group with this rifle using hornady 168 gr match. (It was about .19 inch center to center).
I know 175 gr will buck the wind better at distance, but doesn't group as well for me up close, so I haven't spent much time shooting it.
These are my experiences, but I am honestly looking forward to seeing what others have to say as much as you are.
All that being said, there is a certain amount of voodoo the further out you shoot and each rifle will have its own unique set of preferences.
175SMK.
The end.

He is talking hand load or FGGM factory fodder. Orkan always fights hard for the 175's. This is in part because he is right, but mostly because he is right for himself. He shoots in 100mph wind at 1000 yards. If you don't have heavy wind and stay inside 500, which most shooters do, 168's do well. And usually cost less.
If you don't save money, no since in not buying 175's every time.
I only shoot 77grain in .233 /5.56 and 175's in 308 /7.62. The more you shoot, the more you prefer heavy projectiles. And 208 grains in 300WM.
Heavy is better, but if its cheaper and your not going too far. You can survive the 168's. Otherwise buy the FGGM 175's. they fly farther , better.

Anyone here try the loads from Copper Creek or Southwest? They are loaded with 175smk..
Both will do you fine, especially if you don't reload. I've shot with the owner of Copper Creek at matches, and he's a super guy. He'll also point your bullets before loading them for you, if you want. I'd call him first, if I did not roll my own. The SW Ammo is accurate too, and his Lapua stuff is some of the best out there.
Either way, pick your poison as both will mod likely be more accurate than most shooters. Personally, I'd never shoot 175's in a 308, as the 155 class of bullets from Sierra/Lapua/Berger are superior in every way, but you'd definitely need to roll your own to realize the benefit.
