What is the recessed slide stop for?

Great looking pistol, by the way. I really like it. Are the Wilson Combat grips good?

I very much like the WC grips, but I had the slide stop recessed because I might go with a set of Crimson Trace grips and the stock slide stop can interfere with the laser.

Man that darker gray AT looks much better. Nice mods

Nice! I've been wanting to send in my WC for some fresh armor tuff for a few years now.

Those all seem like pretty good reasons to me.

Looks great! WC does some good work. I like the darker grey AT as well. One of the surprisingly (to me) nicest looking guns I've ever seen was a custom BHP done entirely in the early grey AT. The gun just looked like... business.
Cyril: Oh now that's a breach of trust!

Lana: Do you really want to open this can of trust-breachy worms after I just found you and my ex-boyfriend with a dead hooker in the trunk?

    Cyril: ...I do not.

I have a Wilson Protector and the CT does not hit the slide stop but I do like the look of yours.
