    Wilson Grips

You commented that you liked the Wilson grips and grips are a really subjective thing, but how are they compared to the standard double diamond (or standard wood grips in general)?

I have been real close to buying a set, but can't justify the expense over my current G10 grips (hoping your opinion will push me over the edge).

I'm looking for a little more traction at speed while shooting fast (think a Bill drill or El Pres).

By the way, very nice Wilson, well thought out mods.

Forgive me for offering my 2 cents. The Wilson starburst grips are comfortable, but too fat and not aggressive enough for my taste. The VZ double diamond grips offer a lot more traction without being too aggresive and are shaped better. Plus the VZ grips are cheaper.
FUNDAMENTALS: A crutch for the talentless

That pretty well sums it up, I don't like my grips too aggressive, or checkering for that matter.

Big Buck, thanks for the reply. Dave I appreciate your 2 cents.

I think I'm looking for something a little more aggressive.

Might try VZ Double Diamonds or Aliens.

    Back on topic, beautiful Wilson!

That is a magnificent 1911, the new gray is awesome! Wilson builds some fine 1911's.
