    The MTAC is a good scope for the money the main downside is the poor daylight illumination. The Trijicon has it over the MTAC on that point. But the MTAC is better for longer range.

    The reticle on the Trijicon is definitely giving me second thoughts. Thanks for the suggestion; I will take a look at the MTAC, particularly for that price.

    Pat I don't know why people keep saying this because in my experience the MTAC reticle is brilliant in broad daylight. I've used this in two classes (with white targets) and other situations and never found it lacking. in fact, I hardly ever turn the illum all the way up.

    But I suspect the Achille's Heel of this scope is its durability vs the TR24. I keep it on my training gun but am on the lookout for a better. wish I could afford that Swaro like you have

    Try it on a bright day or worse yet on a bright day with snow on the ground.
