    Connecticut firearm ban 2013

    It seems a federal ban will be rather tough to pass. Not impossible but unlikely. However, here in Connecticut I see harsh bans coming our way. I think we need to fight harder than any other state right now because this horrible mass murder that opened the flood gates happened here. Our democratic state is already somewhere around the top 5 for harsh firearm laws. If we dont do something about it we will quickly jump up there with New York

    Anyone with any solid information on possible proposals please post here. This is what I have found thus far.

    Additionally here is something from the Hartford Courant. Remember! Many Connecticut citizens think this way! Let me rephrase that, the media tells them to think this way and they fall in line.

    Don't know about gun bans, but Waterbury has banned gun shows!

    The Republican-American reports that Waterbury Police Superintendent Michael Gugliotti imposed a moratorium the day after the Dec. 14 killings of 20 children and six educators at a grade school not far away in Newtown.

    CCDL has a meeting coming up. Information in link provided. Im going to go. They seem to be rather organized. Some of their members are your typical tin foil hat folks, but I suppose you will get that anywhere. I hope to see some of you there. I think they can use the support of some m4carbine free thinkers!

    I wish you guys the best of luck. I was looking at some jobs in Connecticut. Out of the states in the try state area, you guys are (hopefully not WERE) the most gun friendly.

    All that has to happen is for Colt, Ruger, and Mossberg to threaten to pack up and leave and take thousands of jobs with them. Last I heard, Colt was already considering Florida for their right to work laws, and any new law could push them over the edge.
