I use an X300 with the Picatinny slot key and it's TIGHT on Knight's, Daniel Defense and La Rue rails.

It comes with two insertes. The U is for universal pistol rails and the P is for picitany rails used on rifles. Make sure you have the right insert in the light.

I got the P part from surefire... Quick mailing, no charge. Definitely has my repeat business now.

It still rattles around a tiny bit but it's good enough now!

Make sure the little screws on the bottom of the X300 are tight enough too. Sometimes they "look" tight but you can wiggle them around.

I have the same problem with mind. Glad I found this thread and a cure for it.

Surefire has great CS. I'm actually starting to wonder why companies like Surefire, Rainier, SKD, S&W, G&R, Brownells, and others have such great CS. I mean is it that firearms companies tend to be nicer? Maybe being veteran owned and supporting has something to do with it?

I wonder what the reasons are. Hm. But I'm not complaining!
