    Trijicon and the Scopecoat

Thanks to Grant, I an now the owner of a Trijicon TA31F.

I have no issues with the optic itself but with the scopecoat. It's like trying to fit DD's in a child Tshirt. Once it's on, though, nothings knocking it off. Is it just mfg'ed a bit too small or is there some other trick I'm unaware of?

I have the same ACOG and find that it's easiest to put the Scopecoat on by placing on the front, then pulling it back over the rear. It is pretty tight.

See, that's what I do too. I have to pull the sides over the windage knobs then try to grab close to the end of the opening and pull pretty hard. I still have to flip the edges over and wrestle it over the eye piece side. Once it's on it's OK, it's just the opening at the bottom seems a bit on the small side. I'm afraid I'll end up tearing it sooner or later.
