You can see how it is raised about 1/4 inch for both rails.

I am wanting to put this REV on a seekins billet upper. When reading your post, I was under the impression that it might not work. After looking at the upper, it appears that there is a 'relief cut' near the upper threads that might allow the anti-rotation tab to be where it needs to?

Has anyone seen a Fortis REV on a Seekins Precision billet upper?

    Fortis Rail

Sorry for not contributing a bit earlier, I am running the Fortis on my 300 BLK since SHOT and have been very impressed with it's fit and function. It is sooooo light, I was amazed at how light this gun was with the rail. Even without rail covers nothing on the unit bit or made my hands bleed. Here is a pic of it on the completed upper:

Very happy with it thus far.

We received some units right before SHOT. The 12" rail weighs only 9 ounces, so it is very light. We have not put enough rounds through to call it heavy use, but it survived last weekend's carbine clinic with no problems at all.

Standard barrel nut lock-up is near identical to the Centurion C4, except for a dovetail on the main clamp.

Great solution for folks with lo-pro gas blocks and wanting long rails with minimal weight. Very open design aids in cooling, and simply, the light weight is immediately noticeable. We put the Fortis FEV on a Noveske MilSpec upper receiver, and it mated perfectly. We also put one on a S&W M&P15T, replacing the original M&P stamped Troy rail. That carbine went on a major diet.

    So far, very impressed.

We still prefer our Centurion C4 Cutouts for our fighting rifles, since they all have fixed FSBs.

I've got an NSR 13.5" on the way but I'm starting to wish I'd gotten one of these instead. I really dig this rail.

Can you comment on the rearmost portion of the lower rail that is closest to the front pivot pin? It looks like it would block the receivers from hinging all the way open (kind of like the older Troy TRX Extreme). Hard to tell though. Thanks.

Not to a full 90 degrees, but it isn't like the older rails that blocked it from opening a decent amount.

Sorry, I just saw this now. I have not, but I should see if I have some spare parts laying around.

Thank you. I'm thinking that it will likely work with their SP223 but not their iRMT series of billet uppers....
