One option would be to go the route I just did- pick up a PSA LPK w/o trigger group and add an ALG EMS trigger. Total cost $100. If any of the PSA parts are not to your liking you could always replace them individually.

m4c member 2nd.amendment was kind enough to provide these links for me in another thread:

    ALG EMS http://www.rogtac.com/lower-parts/lo...s-trigger.html

    LPK w/o trigger group http://palmettostatearmory.com/index...roup-2843.html

I ordered the trigger late Sunday night from ROG and it showed up today (free shipping btw). Amazing, considering the climate we are in.

Mine hasnt arrived yet so no recommendation yet for or against from me. For $55 I gave it a shot. I knew I was going with an ALG ACT or QMS anyway so I was happy to find a LPK w/o a FCG. I scoured the forums for reviews and found positives. I like that it comes with a MOE grip and enhanced trigger guard. USA made. From another thread in this forum, a PSA rep states that they are assembled in house from various parts from the suppliers who provide parts to FN, S&W, etc, not a repackaged complete kit. I have no way to verify this. https://www.m4carbine.net/archive/in...p/t-71064.html

I have had good luck with PSA LPK's as a whole. Quite often there will be a missing spring or detent but other than that they have been GTG for me. Here's the disclaimer; I replace the following in all of my LPK's - trigger guard, grip, selector, and FCG. So essentially I'm just putting most of the kit in my parts box.

As of late I have been "building" my own LPK starting with a KNS Turned Pin Kit, ambi selector, FCG, trigger guard, and grip of my choice then I piece the small parts together from Brownell's or PSA.

My "Basic" LPK with a QMS, MOE Grip & Trigger guard end's up being around $150. If you upgrade to a ACT and a BAD ASS you are closer to $200. I am spending more but I am getting exactly what I want and am not throwing A2 grips, single lever selectors, etc. in my parts box. I have enough if i ever happen to want/need a stock component.

    Good luck.

Warner41- are the grips and trigger guard in the PSA MOE LPK I linked to (http://palmettostatearmory.com/index...roup-2847.html) are the same as what you usually get rid of, or is this a different PSA kit altogether than what you have purchased in the past?

I am just wondering if the MOE grip/guard they reference actually come with the kit or not. I can report back one way or the other when the kit eventually arrives but that could be a few weeks.

Then buy an ALG or Geissele FCG.

Just FYI specialized armament has better prices on colt lower parts than brownells.

They do come with some kits, I replace the A2 grip and trigger guard if I get the "Classic" Kit which doesn't have the upgraded MOE parts.

Perfect, thanks. That makes the $55 price tag for their non-trigger LPK make a bit more sense. I am fine with a standard selector for now so hopefully everything else checks out.
