Who is selling a LPK with a geissele trigger for a reasonable price?
One day, I shall come back. Yes, I shall come back. Until then, there must be no regrets, no tears, no anxieties. Just go forward in all your beliefs and prove to me that I am not mistaken in mine.
How does everyone feel about KNS pins like warner41 mentioned? Battle Arms Development uses them so that has to count for something right?
Unless either the lower or the pins are out of spec, then they are waste of money.
I had one of the first geissele match triggers when he started making them around 2006. I put it in a lower for my SPR build (grant built upper... awsome!). It was built on a global tactical (CMT) lower and either the pins that came with the trigger or the lower was out of spec. They would rotate and work themselves out of the lower. The KNS pins solved that problem, but that was the only time I have ever seen a need to use them.
Thanks for the reply. I should have been a bit more specific. I meant just the basic pins. http://www.knsprecisioninc.com/gun-p...parts-kit.html.
Those are just the pins in a LPK. If you are trying to build your own LPK from parts, then yes KNS should be good to go.
If you already have a good LPK or lower, there is no reason to replace anything unless you have one of the problems I pointed out before.
I hope this helps to answer your question.
Cheers
The KNS LPK pins appear to be very well made. I have used them on a lower build a long time ago and they appeared to be excellent quality.
I don't know the difference in the manufacturing process between these parts from KNS and what the rest of the industry uses but IIRC Battle Arms uses a KNS detent for their BAD ASS.
The parts I installed from that kit held up great.
