    RRA trigger not "resetting" sometimes

I shot my new RRA for the first time last weekend, and it shoots real tight groups, I am very pleased.

The trigger didn't reset when I released pressure every time. It hung probably three times out of 60 rounds shot that day.

I do not know for certain that there is proper lubrication down in there, but I am going to pay close attention to it.

Do you have recommendations for something to watch for or try with regard to the trigger not resetting?

If you are new to the system just clean and oil and try again. If it continues find a reputable AR smith or armorer to take a look at the trigger.

Don't mess around with it yourself. Although you can find pictures here and other sites to compare to your trigger and see if anything is blatantly out of wack.

As you get more knowledge you'll know what you can and can't do.

Good luck, and let us know what happens.

    Thanks will do.

I am not new to the weapon system but new to the actual maintenance of the components other than cleaning.

The RRA triggers suck and this happens quite often. I would check and see if the disconnector spring is seated properly.

Look at the trigger. Is there a couple of set screws threaded through the safety?

I encountered one that actually had a burr on the disconnector.

OP, check all the mating surfaces for smoothness as well in addition to the disconnector spring.

Is it their 'match' trigger, or a standard trigger?

I have the 'match' trigger, and it does that when it gets dirty. I understand that is common for RRA's match trigger. It's going to get replaced when the chaos dies down.

300 rounds through it after a drop of lube, not a single problem.
