    Glad to help, Slavey.

A caliper, or even a tape measure should be able to give you a close enough measurement to determine if you have .625 ahead of the gas block seat.

If you dont have .625 there, you can make it work if you really want to, but it might be looking at custom work like re-profiling that can get expensive.

It might be cheaper to just get a long free float rail and a front BUIS.

I could be wrong but looking at the linked photos, it appears to be .680 after the GB seat like that on Noveske and Centurion barrels.

Seriously, a decent calipers costs $20-25, and once you buy one (and keep it), then you'll find yourself using it constantly.

PSA replied that the OD is .680. Although that's not the same exact barrel that I have, I suspect that the dimensions are the same. I suppose I'll sell this barrel and buy a new one. I really want a dissipator

To the folks concerned with my comments about buying/returning an OD gauge, I was only kidding, but thank you for keeping me in check.

Have the front of the barrel turned down to .625" at the rifle position and a .625" FSB pinned in place.

Brilliant! Thanks Todd. I don't know why I didn't think of that. Lack of experience, I suppose. I'll have to see if the cost of that work is worth it to me. It took all of 5 minutes to get a potential buyer on the hook, so no big loss to replace the barrel, but I really like this barrel.

Unfortunately, they will have to turn the barrel down all the way out to the end, so it will have to be refinished in some way. BTW.. there are still dissapator barrels out there. Google is your friend.
