ok, im not very experienced with irons (adjustable), what advantage do they offer within 300yds? Multiple zeros?

For 300yd, the Troy's are fine - it's when you're working past that that the KAC 200-600m models are worth the money. A 300yd zero with fixed irons works pretty well anyway, so you don't need long range type BUIS in that case.
