Hello all,
I managed to score a 24" stainless bull barrel upper for my precision rifle build. I need help. I really REALLY like the handguard on the rifle. It's free-float, round, and completely
devoid of any rails or sling mounts - which brings me to my problem. I know that mounting a bipod directly to the barrel is a no-no since I'm building this rifle for pure long-range accuracy - so what do I do? Do I have any viable options other than drill that puppy out and add some kind of mount?
Also, the gas block rail is mounted lower - for a front BUIS I know that I'm going to need a special gas block sight - anyone have any recommendations on those? I'd like to keep it somewhat low cost but bulletproof. I keep seeing MI pop up but I've never been a fan of their work...
Thanks is advance!
