Im thinking about this for my Mk12 build. Fits my needs better than the Nightforce 2.5-10. I like the idea of 1x for cqb needs, over losing 2x at the top end. I wont be shooting past 600, so 8x is more than enough for me.
You have enemies? Good. That means you've stood up for something, sometime in your life.

Can't believe nobody else commented on this....

    25.6 oz. without a mount?

Hard to believe the juice is worth the squeeze if that weight is true.

I think a 2.5-10x NF with an offset t1 is a better choice.

You get higher end magnification, a quicker change to 1x, a red dot with daylight visibility / battery life measured in years / no worry about eye box for the most part, and it'll be lighter and probably cheaper than the 1-8x USO.

I have only used iron sights but this set up that Koshinn is talking about is what i am thinking about using also.Looks like it would be easier and quicker to roll the ar to 1:00 for using the t-1 and back to the scope for longer distance. But the 3 gun guys seem to like the 1-6 scope better and they should know what works best.

It helps keep the gun on target.

My cousin told me the sig556 was the nicest 5.56 gun on the market. Mind you, he owns a scar 16, an lwrc, a psa, and works at a gun shop. I asked him why he had this opinion and he said because there was almost no recoil. I told him the reason was the ridiculous weight. He agreed. So I told him to zip tie a 5 lb. weight to his PSA's rail and call it a day lol.

The reason the 3 gunners like the 1-6 optics is that using two optics puts you in a different class (open, I believe) that if you only use 1 optic.

Isn't the push button illumination programable so that you can set it to jump from say illumination setting 3 to 8(or whatever) with one press?

Or am I interpreting that particular piece of marketing wrong?
