Does your parallax adjustment go beyond the 35 and infinity marks?

yes. but I don't take that to mean anything. I've never had a parallax mark line up exactly at the specified range, at least for my eyes.

understand, I'm using this mostly as a "target focus" knob. the concept of a parallax adjustment is to bring the target and the reticle into the same plane. I don't know if this is doing exactly that as I "focus" it with this ring...

Perfect. That's all I needed to know.

This is my first scope with parallax adjustment, so I didn't know if that was normal or not. Very excited.

This is my first magnified optics, starting to get into medium-long range shooting. I wish I ordered from somewhere else its not supposed to be shipping until the 28. But my larue mount just came in and I am looking forward to receiving the scope. Anyone have any range reports with it?

    Mounts

What mounts are being used? ADM recon? Recon X? Larue?

I'm thinking about mounting mine (when I get it) in a pair of LaRue LT808's to save weight. That gun (DPMS RFLR-C) is overweight as it is.

You may have issues on getting enough forward eye relief with rings - most people need a cantilevered mount with an AR.

I use an ADM Recon. turret spacing is such there is no need for extended. the front of this scope is so light compared to the ocular that I would feel comfortable with the Scout mount as well but had the Recon on hand so...

That is an interesting thought...I use an A1 buttstock, so I wasn't thinking it was going to be an issue. Perhaps some more math is in order.

How's the eye box at 2.5x?
