    Question Larue SPR-E Mounting Question

I am having the hardest time getting the play out of the mounting rings as it connects to the base (3 attempts). The rings hold the scope very firmly and used blue loctite for the screws. I don't want to strip the screws, but the rings aren't tight enough to alleviate the play at the base. Is this normal or did I flip the ring pieces around to cause an inadvertent misalignment?

I am not trying to play Mod here or anything, but have you contacted LaRue yet? Any time I have called I have received all the help I could possibly need.

No, I just thought I'd get some opinions first. I will contact them.

Please insert and tighten the 2 screws on the bottom of each ring first, and then insert and tighten the 2 top ring screws. Please use the attached blue loctite. If you have any questions, give me a call.

    Thanks!
