I agree with a lot of others here about checking your LGS regularly. I stopped in the PSA store here outside of Beaufort on Wednesday to pick up a set of MBUS. When I was checking out they asked (whispered) if I wanted to buy some mags. They were acting kind of secretive about it. My guess is they're only selling to regulars to avoid random people buying in bulk and reselling. They had a few boxes of metal PSA mags behind the counter. They were $14.99 with Magpul followers. Needless to say I bought a few to stock up. I've also had my dad checking his LGS and he's managed to find 10 Brownells mags and 4 pmags so far at decent prices.

I never hit the LGSs in my area.

Our local Fleet Farm was getting in shipments 20rd and 30rd Pmags pretty regularly until last week.
    20rds were $12.95 and windowed 30's were $15.95
They were limiting your purchase to one a day
I just live a few blocks away, so I stopped back every few hour and bought from a different clerk

You see, around here we don't have a lot of AR type parts suppliers. Even the oldest and largest store just started to carry MagPul recently and that was just a little 1' wide x 4' tall rack.

They did ramp up when they opened their new mega-store and had all magpul items but at pretty high prices compared to normal. Like $17 - $18 or so for a mag. the grand opening they had 10% off MSRP.

Bass Pro doesn;t even carry and their prices are of the charts and usually supplies limited. Small shops just don't carry this sort of stuff. There are a couple of really tiny shops but I doubt they have anything.

Hell even WalMart has very little in ammo and certainly no MagPul type supplies. Even the gun shows you might see one dealer with a few MagPul items. So in central VA it's not like we can just check the LGS... it's always way cheaper and basically the only way by mail order. Hell I can buy 1lb of powder and HAZMAT fees + shipping cheaper than I can buy off the shelf of the "hunters and sportsmans" paradise stores.

Everything I've heard from conservative talking heads and gun rights groups say that the AWB and magazine ban won't pass Congress.
The "universal background check" however may pass, but it will be a battle.

Man I was looking for those like a year ago thinking it would be interesting to have a few and no one had them. Did DSG do another run or something? I'd love to have one or two of them at some point.
