    Yeah, in conjunction with the election and the ever-shrinking principled conservative presence, I have a feeling that this has the makings of a perfect storm for anti-gun legislation.

    Fortunately we seem to have left schools alone (guess they aren't in session) and now the crazy people are engaged in armed takeovers of cities / neighborhoods.

    And again, nothing really new.

    “Choir preaching”, albeit superbly authored Steyr.

    At days end I think there are two, most relevant points;
    Coyotes prefer unarmed sheep.
    FÜCK the coyotes.
    A true "Gun Guy" (or gal) should have familiarity and a modicum of proficiency with most all firearms platforms.

    For now. It's been quiet on the "mass casualty event" side. Sure, the Antifa stuff. But, that can cut both ways. I'd be on the lookout for an "October Surprise" somewhere where there is a crowd. I can't see it being done against the mobs, as a lot of people would think that a positive. The subversives/commies/leftists/squad and Ratface Beto need a Shocking Event. Can't say as it will be a school, as so many students are home, rather than gathered. Watch for an event, maybe a charity concert. But, whatever it is, I think one will be staged at the last minute, for "effect". However, that can backfire if they make it too obvious.

    I agree with everything you wrote.

    But you missed the bottom line, Congress is full of idiots.

    They want to lower violence in the country, ban guns. But we still have violence.

    They want to stop money laundering, so they pass laws that make it nearly impossible for American citizens to own business outside the USA and have bank accounts in foreign banks. But not 1 cent less has been stopped from being laundered.

    I watch the Democrats how they spoke to the AG a week or so ago, it was disgusting. Then I watched the Republicans with the tech CEOs', and I was even more disgusted. They were so stupid on technology they didn't even know what questions to ask.

    The problem is Congress, not my guns, not my money, not my freedom and liberty or at least what I have left of it. Strike it being just Congress, when I hear the mayor of Portland or Seattle and also read of cities that pass taxes on rain fall due to run off from your property.

    The problem is politicians.

    No the problem is the American people we forgot how to tar and feather politicians.

    For every dipshit gun law the demtards come up with, OUR side offers bills repealing TEN other dipshit laws. Throw TEN TIMES the repeals at every ONE of their gun bans, & wear 'em down OLD SCHOOL.

    I still believe; our system is so broken, so corrupt, it will never be changed by working within the system.

    Ultimately yes, Congress is to blame. But to some extent a misinformed population supporting Congressional action is also to blame. As Congress can't be fixed, this is what we can do until the shooting starts.
