Agree, this will be the highlight at next years SHOT. Seemed the theme this year was flashy paint jobs.

    What's next?

Engraved hunting scenes and gold inlay like on high dollar Euro's?

Nice job for your first time out of the box!

Engravers/Coin Makers have what are called "Line Jigs" for drawing, cutting,in this case filing, perfect straight lines.

almost any jewelry supply company that sells engraving tools will have them.

I agree, and never would have done this if I had not see it on LAVs show. I did not notice glare on the back of my 1911 either. But in hindsight, I am glad I did this to both of them. I didn't even know I needed it until I had it.

Yep... I've done projects just for the challenge, curiosity, etc.

I liked the serations on the new DD fixed rail mounted front sights too.

You're lucky. My friends have called my handwriting hieroglyphics and my illustrations "prehistoric cave drawings".

LAV and MARTY made me do it! (part 2 added on page 2)

I was told by a boss: "you write like a three year old. No! More like A DRUNKEN three year old." I look at my little girl now, and her three year old handwriting and I realize how funny that really is. And true!
