Okay I really like Centurion and all of their products but that just looks way too much like the Barnes Precision Ultra Lite for me not to say its anything but a copy. Not an exact copy but close enough in regards to concept. From the barrel nut/lock up concept to the design for mounting things to the rail and built in QD mounts.

Looks to me like it's essentially the same thing. Kinda like how Spikes Tactical puts their name on the BAR/SAR Seekins Precision rails and marks them up 20%.

Either way, it does look like a great piece but I probably won't be selling any of my current gear to run out and buy it. Future build? Who knows.

This rail was in the planning stages well over a year ago. The problem was getting it into production with all the shit going on. Before people make judgements on the rail they need to see it.

Sure. Why not? He's a capatilist who recognized an item that fills a role and sells well. Try one, Mark!

Yeah but that BPM rail isn't new and was already produced and on the market well over a year ago when you mention the Centurion was in design and planning.

    I'm just kidding.

Tubes are not my thing... but I'm sure it's a fine handguard.

looking for a new rail possibly. I'm looking at the Geisell and NSR rails. I'll wait for the specs first. Looks good though. Will there be FDE versions?

Since you want to pick apart everything and since I am not a Centurion spokesman I'll let him address it.

Actually, I don't see it as being that similar. The centurion rail appears to be rounded on the bottom and narrower sides.

Yep. QD's in different spots. Angle by QD different. Not the exact same.
