People are going to believe whatever they want. Using the same logic, everyone is copyin KAC & ARMs because they developed rail systems, and everything looks pretty close to their designs still.

Pretty much. Without knowing a full rundown of the specs, connections details, comparing the two side-by-side etc. it's altogether unfair to take a shot at Monty. But,

Hopefully he's spending more time making them and less time talking about a product lineup that speaks for itself.

Stick, do you think this tube will fit over a shaved FSB?

That's a nice looking rail but I'm liking the Geissele fde MK4 rail below it alot more.

seriously? I don't see it that way. that's like saying anybody who makes a kydex holster is copying the originator...

what I see here by Centurion (who makes excellent affordable, innovative, lightweight and sturdy products, and doesn't get near enough recognition, btw...) is an improvement of the concept.

I'm curious - did you think the same thing about the Geissele rails?..

other than the clamping method being similar, I see lighter weight, helicoil inserts so lugs can be attached directly without backing plates, a recessed rather than proud QD attachment point, and it looks sleeker and with better attention to detail than the Barnes.

being familiar with Centurion products (I own several), it doesn't appear that Monty does anything without a great deal of thought or simply because it's been done before. his "Cutout" rails are (to my knowledge) an innovation, yet I don't see any of the ones that have come after branded as copycats...

I'm not trying to pick a fight but rather don't want to see this excellent company get treated unfairly. Centurion deserves a lot more credit than they seem to be getting and I don't think calling another tube rail (and there are many), a copy, is being fair...

What one? This page is filled with nothing but rails that have nothing to do with the topic...
