    What do you keep loaded in your home defense weapons?

    I thought I'd ask because I was curious as to what ammunition other members are using to protect their homes.

    For me:

    Federal HST 230gr .45ACP -
    Because I know it will get the job done

    Winchester Super X 2 3/4" 16 pellet #1 buck 12ga -
    More wound coverage area than 00 with seven extra pellets in the payload and still penetrates to the minimum 12" - 16 x .30 cal pellets as opposed to 9 x .33 cal pellets - always seemed like a no-brainer to me

    Winchester Supreme Ballistic Silvertip 55gr .223 -
    Rapid fragmentation, low recoil, and reliability
