    Generally if your using standard rings on an AR you need extra high. Your better off with a one piece mount made for an AR.

    If you have a fixed front sight post, you should have a 1/2 co-witness with the P-223 rings. It will appear as a slight gray blur. I have a folding front sight now so I don't see that blur as I did with a fixed FSP.
    I'm looking at the utg individual QD rings they have a high 1" version so it should clear, they got good reviews on optics planet and cheaper than the p223 rings

    Their rings may be OK. I don't know anything about them. Their rails are pretty low quality. Is there a decent warranty?

    Those good reviews might be from airsoft shooters.

    I guarantee UTG isn't using quality alloy or even coming NEAR a decent anodizing.

    That was the only knock on them was the finish. There actually quite a few reviews from AR owners on there. I think I'm gonna give them a shot for the price, for 24.99 if I don't like them they will find there way on a .22
