    That's still inexpensive, ( really good rings can go for as much as $150-$200) and they will be much bettet than the UTG.

    I would be concerned with the trueness on the inside of UTG rings, as well as the sturdiness of the mounting hardware.

    Vortex rings or such can't be that much more and would at least have a good warranty and name behind them.

    I want a QD setup but for the money I'd get the Nikon rings if I decide to go the fixed route. The next step up is a Burris 1-piece QD they run $115.

    Just an update I'm glad I waited cause optics planet is doing the free m223xr mount with purchase so I spent the extra funds on the m223 2-8x32 scope.
