Kahles K16i 1-6x24

I was browsing Sportoptic's web site and noticed the
Kahles K16i 1-6x24. Looks to have some nice reticles in SFP. Not sure if the dot is daylight bright.

Looks to be a nice optic. Anyone have first hand experience with these?

Ive looked through one, but that's it. The glass is STUPID clear...just beautiful. Reticle looked like it made sense, dot SEEMED daylight bright, (i was outside when i got a look at it) but it was just a quick examination, and I didn't shoot it, so I don't want to be misleading.

VERY bright, definitely daytime bright!

Its Swarovski's sister company. Basically its a Z6i that is even more expensive.

Thanks everyone. I have really been waiting on the "perfect" 1-6 or 1-8 optic. I just ordered a Knights ECC and am looking at options. Not opposed to the Mk8 CQBSS, as I've shot one and really liked it. Would prefer to spend less. Also considering the Swaro z6i and Leupy mk6 1-6x.

I saw the Kahles and thought it may be worth considering.

Its Swarovski's sister company. Basically its a Z6i that is even more expensive.

My initial impression at just handling and looking at the optic was the same.

The reticle choices are in my view very good for the intended target audience; IPSC and 3-gun shooters.

At least thats what the booth graphics seemed to suggest as the target audience at SHOT.

I was in contact to the factory about acquiring one.

My buddy Ryan Zamberlan is one of Kahles sponsored shooters and is using this scope. Its REALLY impressive to say the least. He was using a Z6i before and this scope beats it hands down.

I have ran Kahles hunting scopes for years (and Swaros)
Both are top notch optics..

The latest Kahles "tactical" scopes are making a big hit..
I am running the K312 and it replaced my USO 3-17 on my 308
The K624I is also an amazing scope.

Rumor has it Daniel Horner is quite enamored with the Kahles 1-6

I should be getting one in very soon and am looking forward to it.

From what I understand from some optics guys, it's the same glass and erector system as the Z6i, but built more for "tactical" use.

It has a knob controlled brightness adjustment. And some different reticle choices.
