I don't want to get into a discussion over the merits of a M16 BCG, I am only saying that it wouldn't stop me from purchasing a rifle with an AR15 group.

    M400's are a fine rifle.

I would agree that the Sig M400 is a nice rifle. Maybe not as proven as Colt or BCM but I would bet my life on an M400 as long as I've given it a nice, thorough 'once-over' checking everything. They are certainly miles and miles ahead of the shitass commercial brands out there like Rock River and Bushmaster and right around the same price point. I'd probably take the M400 over a PSA, even. Then again maybe I just like the rollmark.

Back to the OP, shoot the piss out of all 3. Eventually you will settle into one that will be your go to. I think it's accurate to say you didn't get a bad rifle in any of the 3.

Don't get caught up in the "Tier" stuff.

There's a lot of folks with BCM/DD/LMT/Noveske that swear by them.

Shoot your rifle. Hopefully you can find ammo. Listen to Larry.

    Good advise!

If you're not going into harms way then worse case with "lesser" weapons you break something and get to learn more about your guns/out a day at the range... no harm no foul.

You've got good/great tools now the more important thing is to go get lots of training and learn to use them properly.

If only I could convince the fiance that the extra $150 for Larry Vickers Carbine class was worth it over our local guys we trained with last year (who were excellent).. but... it's Larry Vickers

    So it's not just me....

Of all the stuff I have learned here, the biggest thing is I have learned that I don't know jack or shit, and Jack just left town.

I have fired all three. I own the Sig Sauer RM400-16B-EC-ODG (only a color difference from the FDE). My recommendation - go for the Sig M400 over the Colt 6920 "OR" get a Colt LE9640.

The 6940 is significantly better and doesn't have the dumb carrying handle.

Colt LE6920 (on this one I have read about a "walmart edition", mine has a white label not the blue if that means anything)

    Thank You
