I know a few local places in Pittsburgh that still have powder and primers. If you are local to the area feel free to PM me.

Sierra Bullets sells on their website direct to the public
    and in stock.
They ship ground in a few days, just got 1000 69 grain SMKs.

    It's retail but who cares?

Two months ago I passed on a full drum of once fired 5.56 military brass....someone kick me.

$25. per 100 once fired at the range if you sort your own now.

Anyone want to go in a buyers club?

One more thank you for the tip on Sierra. I've been looking for .224 projectiles all over the place and never would have thought to try the factory direct route.

At $25 per 100 I would still pass.

The 55 gal barrel was cheap,I was too lazy to swag military brass at the time.

$25. per hundred was at a local range after the panic buying frenzy.

    Thats .25 cents a case

The goverment auction bid right now is $150. for 1055 lbs

there are about 68 cases per lb

that is about 71,740 pieces of brass, not a quater a case either.

This has been kicked around before many times over the years. I never saw where anyone was able to successfully pull one of these off.

To me... the scrap value of brass is more than I'd be willing to pay for useable brass.
