    Thanks for the encouragements.
Maybe, while there is shortage in ammo, I'll gather the time to do this project.

In regards to my comment above... I had a friend look at my rifle and he thinks my barrel nut might be out of tolerance, which is causing my rail to mount crooked. I don't have a scope mount.

I used a removable carry handle to mount my REV and it worked well for alignment.

Anybody actually measured the length of this rail? Ive read the 14" is more like 14.75".

Have you ran both the DD MFR and fortis hard? How is the heat issues for both? It looks like the DD would get hot really fast if ran very hard.

It also doesn't help that the flash hider covers a decent amount of length on the barrel as well, making the 14 seem even longer.

This one had me curious, so I pulled out my rifle with the 12" REV.

Measured out at 12.375" so I guess they're just a bit off of exact. A friends rifle with the 14" REV on a 14.5 barrel goes right to the base of the muzzle device, but I know that a decent portion of the ".5" is the threads at the end of the barrel. If I had to ball park it, I would say that his is probably the same .375" as mine is.
