Multiple people out of the hundreds that have had claims with PayPal over this have said that no type of "money holding" was arranged. If one person said that maybe bs. However lots of folks have said that. This has been some of the most horrific customer service I have ever seen. Any company that chooses to handle most of the customer service through Facebook like some Justin bieber teenage fan page needs a class in business.

    1. No pic of any sort of actually evidence has been presented.
    2. PayPal has no arrangement. Which is why they switched it up to taking checks and money orders and made some direct acct.
    3. Attacking customers is probably not good for business.
    4. A mom and pop trying to truly succeed would have been upfront sooner about all the issues they have run into.
    5. If it was legit every pic of product wouldn't be photoshopped!

Yeah, I have to admit; they aren't scoring any points with the facebook crap. It looks like they're trying run the business with zero liability; almost through anonymity. They were unprepared for what being on the web really means... Which is; WE CAN FIND YOU... And now they're stalling for time.

We need to change our wording here; there is no 'escrow' or 'holding agreement' with Pay Pal. They are talking about the standard 45 day policy that Pay Pal itself uses. For the record, Pay Pal DOES recognize them as a valid online merchant but they couldn't tell me anything about their transaction history other "than there are no complaints filed"

I'll say it again; If you have any funds tied up in this outfit, call them up (during THEIR business hours) and calmly ask for a refund. You'll probably get your money back like I did.

I don't know how paypal has not shut them down. Makes me wonder if they know that these are baby killing bolts.

They don't care about babies. They'd shut it down if these were illegal alien, felon-killing bolts. Because, you know, they can be rehabed and added to a liberal voting roster.

They are pulling any posts asking about refunds now. The censorship on the Facebook site is unreal. A guy posted that he has been waiting for a week for a refund. Call PayPal or email to dispute the order. Then call your credit card company. Lots of people have posted they can't get through on the phone. No reason to wait to see if this pans out or if they will issue refund. When I called PayPal about my claim last week the confirmed that these guys have nothing setup with them. When you file a claim it says it cannot process because company doesn't exist or something to that effect. Many people have commented that was the response they got.

As far as the time of day when they called or who they spoke to at Pay Pal, I'm sure the specifics will vary widely. But The Pay Pal rep I spoke to says the company DOES exist and they can help you if you aren't past day 45. They do however, recommend contacting the seller first.

Why would you have called PayPal if RRO was so comforting on the phone? Your evaluation of what PayPal has said to people is completely contradicted by what other folks have said on Facebook and all the threads. More than a few people have said PayPal has a stack of disputes against this company. I also wasn't the first person to dispute a claim with my credit card company. One of the moderators here pointed out the fact that PayPal will not be involved with the selling of gun stuff to begin with. So any "deal" they had worked out with PayPal is a flat out lie.

Nothing about the whole situation passes the smell test.

They lied, repeatedly about how far along they were, and when the product would ship. Nothing they say from that point forward can be believed.

    You misunderstand.

I called Pay Pal FIRST because of all the bad publicity I read. I got spooked because I didn't want to get ripped off for $187. When I called Pay Pal, I asked them the following...
    (1) Does RRO exist? are they a legit company? - Pay Pal: Yes, the are new but they ARE a real company.
    (2) Can you tell me if there any claims/disputes with them? - Pay Pal: No I'm not seeing any complaints against them.
    (3) Can you tell me if they have any completed transactions through Pay Pal? - Pay Pal: No. I cannot see their transaction history.
    (4) A lot of people online are afraid they won't get their product. What protection do I have to keep from getting ripped off? - Pay Pal: you can file a claim with us up to 45 days from your purchase date.
    (5) Do you have any agreement with RRO to extend your refund period past 45 days? - Pay Pal: No. After 45 days, you'll have to either call RRO or call your credit card company.

The Pay Pal rep then pointed out that there was a phone number on my receipt and suggested I start by calling them, and that I can call Pay Pal again if they don't answer or refuse to refund my money.

After this conversation I continued to watch the threads and monitor Palmetto State Armory's site for BCGs and ammo. My intention was to grab a BCG from PSA and cancel my order from RRO if they didn't clear up their parts issue. I would have escalated to Pay Pal and/or my card company if necessary but the woman on the phone didn't give me any problems. Now the $187 has been spent on PSA's BCG... estimated delivery... this week...
