Yes i plan on doing a full review once it comes in. I liked the demo they had Shot Show, its a good compromise between the flat trigger of the SD-C and the standard curve of the rest of their triggers with more texture on the face which i think will be better for gloves. Unfortunately Geissele is saying they are about 10 weeks behind.

Yes they do, I just dont know if they are worth the retail price KAC is asking for them. I personally feel that my SR15's trigger is better than my Geissele SSA, but i could almost buy 2 SSA's for the price of one new KAC trigger.

I say that a trigger should be the first upgrade. Get the gun running good...then start adding things to look through and hold onto.

GI triggers can be hit or miss, I'd throw some rounds at them though before upgrading...they can smooth out over time.

For some, that $200 is better spend on training, ammo, etc. A trigger upgrade can enhance a proficient user's capabilities, but by itself will make no one a better shooter.

That's some of the best advice.

Use the standard stuff. Become proficient and accurate by using that money saved on ammo and training.

Then, upgrade if you feel it necessary.

Why do you think runners just don't train on flat ground? They run uphill, downhill, through rocky uneven terrain, and even in sand. Why? Because it hones the skills, makes things seem easier when it comes to a flat track.

This is true about triggers. I guess i keep my training money seperate from my gun money in my head....if that makes since.

I would imagine that a person buying a weapon would already be thinking about learning to use it. Range time isnt part of my gun budget.

At any rate...a lot of good advice here.

not all triggers are the same. I have a few GI triggers that after a few hundred rounds are as nice as an ALG trigger - which is a slicked up GI trigger but nonetheless, very shootable. FWIW, I shot an M1 and several ARs to 600yds with nothing but the service trigger. at 10-100 yards it's the finger, not the trigger...

Yeah everyone budgets their purchases differently.

You assume too much about the average owner. Stopped by a store today to check for primers and put a Shield on order...and heard some dude talking about how he 'never shoots his semi autos because he doesn't want to wear out the follower springs'. Guess he never drives his cars either...for fear of wearing out tires, brake pads, etc.

Wilson TTU is great. The big benefit is it's drop-in as well. I have the single stage in my SBR and love it.

The new Geissele Super Tricon trigger is currently in stock here:
    http://geissele.com/supertricontrigger.aspx
    and here: https://tridentconcepts.com/shop/
It is my new favorite Geissele trigger for a RDS carbine. I also think there is a good chance we will see a Super Tricon "E" version in the future.

    G2S

Installed my G2S last night and took it out to zero the irons and test it out today.

Works like a dream. I have a tough time telling the difference between the SSA and the G2S when trying them side by side in our rifles, could be just me justifying the savings who knows.

Install was easy just like the rest and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a Geissele trigger south of the $200 mark ($165 direct from Geissele along with a boatload of swag).
