Below are some pictures that show the face of the trigger and a comparison photo to the ALG Defense ACT trigger (mil-spec).

The trigger is a hybrid between a SSA and a SD-C. The pull weights are that of a SSA but the perceived pull weight feels likes like the SD-C. The trigger feels like it is more to the rear when compared to a SD-C and this is by design; for those that wear gloves.

Currently in stock and on the Geissele website for order: TRICON Trigger

Geissele is the way to go, I run the SD-E and SD-3G and love them.

Another vote for the SSA. I tried a new JP match trigger on a friends rifle and it did not work well for me. The reset was very weird IMO.

Dropped the SSA in my DD yesterday, first aftermarket AR trigger I've ever tried, I'm spoiled now, god first the PPQ and now this... I will die a happy man.

The 'winter' Geissele looks like a great idea; particularly if you are going to use the winter guard.
It sits the trigger far enough to the rear that it shouldn't be possible to get a glove stuck between the trigger and the guard.
How does reducing the distance to the trigger feel?

    Re: Let's talk triggers

I also installed my first after market ar trigger; the geissele ssa. What a difference over the stock sig trigger. I could not be happier with the pull. Thanks to all of you here that recommended this trigger, it's a keeper. I only put 200 rounds through with the new trigger, but I am forced to transition to .22s after a bit so I can conserve as much center fire as possible. Hats off to swfa too, for getting the trigger and an x300 to me so quickly. Now if I can just find an aimpoint pro in stock somewhere...

    Let's talk triggers

I have a Wilson Combat TTU in my 6920. Love it!! Having spent 9 years beyond the trigger of a single stage M4 in the Infantry, I wanted to stay with a single stage. Purely a familiarity thing for me.

Very crisp, no creep at all, and very quick reset. I'm a huge fan. I'm not saying the Wilson TTU is better just another very viable option. Don't overlook it in the trigger discussion.

Anybody else using the Geissele G2S?

The stock trigger in our pretty new DDM4 V3 is kinda rough before it stacks up and then the pull is too hard for our liking. My Colt's stock trigger is much better.

The LGS was trying to sell us a CMMG 2 stage, but sounds like most like the Geissele triggers.
