If you live anywhere near Ranier Arms they have a table full of lowers with different triggers you can try.....

It is noticeably lighter than the SSA-E in both stages... The other G2S I had installed felt exactly like my two SSAs, maybe even a bit lighter, but nothing like that one G2s - it's golden - I guess I got lucky... You can't go wrong with it, IMO. I honestly regret buying the two SSAs and wish I bought G2Ss instead.

The argument for the SSA is its versatility; it has enough resistance to control it in an 'asshole puckering' environment, yet it's light enough to squeeze off for more traditional target work.
The SSA is a great compromise IMHO, tho' there may be better options for pure target work. It is what you want if there is the slightest chance of anyone shooting back.

I have the SSA but feel that the reset is much too long. I've been doing some reading but I haven't seen anything Geissele offers with a short reset and without compromising the SSA trigger pull. Am I missing something?

I realize that some triggers do indeed have a shorter reset than the SSA, but it is not necessary to let the trigger out all the way to the first stage to fire a following shot.
In times of ripping off a series of shots (at steel plates for instance) I can't notice an excessive reset.
