I found that the rifles without an SSA simply weren't getting shot.
Hate to admit it, but I even stuck one in the retro...

Posted it elsewhere, but a buddy just got a 15-22, which uses GI FCG stuff, and it had a remarkably good trigger. Perhaps the mfgs will start doing more of that sort of thing....

ETA-better prices are to be had on the Geissele triggers if you work thru' an FFL who receives the Brownells discount.

It is noticeably lighter than the SSA-E in both stages... The other G2S I had installed felt exactly like my two SSAs, maybe even a bit lighter, but nothing like that one G2s - it's golden - I guess I got lucky... You can't go wrong with it, IMO. I honestly regret buying the two SSAs and wish I bought G2Ss instead.
So....how light, or not, are the SSAs? We don't want super light....already have a trigger that stacks up too hard...and its rough leading up to it.

I'd say we want something kinda in the middle as far as pull but all around smooth. Does that describe SSA?

    Thanks.

I believe the SSA is supposed to break at about 4.5 lbs

That is total breakweight, with about half of it in each stage.

Their triggers went up across the board, but still worth every cent.

Has anyone here tried out the new TRICON trigger they have recently released? Any reviews?

There are a lot of nice triggers out there but I chose the SSA and find it a great combat trigger. It's a lot like the stock Colt 6920 trigger I had only far better in every way. It's not a glass rod hair trigger for bench shooting, It just feels right in the gun. I think the SSA/E would be good as well for a tripod gun etc.

ALG Combat Trigger (ACT), the best mil-spec trigger for the $. All I got to say.

Interested as well, debating between that and an sdc for the HD rifle. SSA-E with a SSA trigger spring in my SPR for a slightly heavier 1st stage.
