    Vortex PST 1-4 reticle question

I recently bought a PST 1x4 MOA. When the illumination is on, it lights up everything crisply except the vertical stadia which I can only see the main line and not the hash marks, definitely not the same as the horizontal stadia. Anybody with experience with this scope have the same results?
Bought it for my first 1x4 and pretty impressed but wondering if the illumination is more for the dot vs. the rest of the reticle.

    Thanks for you input...

Mine illuminates the same brightness over the entire reticle and it is perfectly clear and focused. You may be trying to use more illumination than you need. Call Vortex they are good to work with.

Mine has uniform illumination of whole reticle as well. Maybe you use too much illumination for given ambient light? If not, contact Vortex. I'm sure they will help.

The segmented circle and center dot are the only things that fully illuminate on mine.

I can see some "reflection" (for lack of a better description) on the horizontal line and hash marks in near darkness - less so on the vertical. With the tiny hash marks (I guess due to the 4X sized reticle application), I don't see much use in them anyway.

Thank you for posting this photo. How have you liked this reticle at the range?

It works very well at close range and is a decent option to mid range. The hash marks are very fine, as I have mentioned in this forum a few times, and difficult to pick up - especially against a dark background.
