Autopsies attended...Trauma bay attendance experience...Operating room observations...etc...
Stuff like that...

Nobody is asked or required to take the SME/IP or similar title of any member at face value, but you will make at least a token effort to exercise some discretion PRIOR to publicly questioning their background.
