My first builds. 2 tricked out Noveskes. Afghan & Dedicated .22lr. Lots of pics!

I've been wanting to build something for quite some time, so finally a few months ago I decided the time was now. I did a lot of research, and took my time, and had patience to put together exactly what I wanted. I started building the dedicated 22 first, but when sandy hook happened I decided to go ahead and build the Afghan as well.

    The 22:

    CMMG 16" 1/16 twist M4 profile barrel & AAC 51T flash hider

    Noveske Gunfighter charging handle
    Noveske/Troy BUIS
    Aimpoint Micro T-1 2moa
American Defense QD Socom mount. Waiting on my LT660 from LaRue

    Lower Assembly:

Badass 45 degree st selector (Cerakoted in Magpul FDE)
Tactical Link battery assist lever (Cerakoted in Magpul FDE)
    PSA LPK
    Magpul Miad
    Vltor I-Mod/Vltor buffer tube
    Taccom pressure plug
    Boonie Packer Better-Mag S&W 15-22 magazine adapter/bhoa

    The Afghan:

    Upper Assembly:

    * Noveske Afghan factory complete upper with:

    Noveske/Vltor MUR upper
Noveske 14.5" stainless steel Afghan barrel
    13.5" Noveske NSR rail
    Pinned/welded Battlecomp 1.5
    Noveske Gunfighter charging handle
    Noveske BCG
    Trijicon TR24G
    Trijocon/Bobro extended mount
Magpul MBUS Gen 2 FDE (waiting on shipment)

    Lower Assembly:

    Noveske Gen 2 lower
    Noveske QD end plate
    Geissele SD-E
    Badass 45 degree st selector
Tactical Link battery assist lever (Cerakoted in Magpul FDE)
    Daniel Defense LPK
    Magpul Miad
    Vltor I-Mod/Vltor buffer tube

Two very nice rifles, I'm jealous. I dont think I've ever seen a nicer dedicated 22lr build.

Very nice, but damn that is a lot of coin to drop on a dedicated .22lr!

It was. But it's a lifelong investment. Plus if I wanna convert this one back to 5.56 later it will be easy. Just swap out the barrel and bcg and I'll have another kick ass 5.56 AR

Ha Ha Same thing crossed my mind as I realized the parts used. Very nice.

How is the lock back feature working on the boonie packer?

Any problems with it coming loose or out while changing mags?

It's working good. Locks back as advertised. Fits in very snug and the 5 mags I have drop free.

    Very nice looking rifles.

Where in the hell did you get 2 Gen2 lower receivers? Even before Sandy Hook, they were hard to find. I've been looking for one for MONTHS.

One of them was from Atomic Tactical, and the other I got from a guy on the ee section on tos under new lower receivers. The second one was bought after sandy hook, and I only paid 320 shipped for it with a daniel defense parts kit included. Was lucky
