Where did you buy it from? I wouldn't be surprised if it's a counterfeit. There are so many almost perfect counterfeits floating around out there... Can't go wrong with Troy though...

Exactly... MBUS are better for CQB situations/urban warfare and I imagine the Matech would be better on an open battlefield.

You'll be fine. Enjoy them until Magpul comes out with the Gen 3. There's a reason why I run $90 a pair sights on $2000+ rifles. I don't like to cheese out anywhere and I don't consider buying the MBUS as being thrifty - they do what I need them to do and they do it well.
