I had a problem shooting Tula out of my DDM4V3. I would get a stuck case after every 3rd round. The ammo was pure crap. I was also using an H1 buffer and my BCG was definately not dripping wet. I haven't tried Tula since, My DD will run fine with good brass cased ammo (Fed, IMI). Try again with good ammo and a known good magazine.

PMC Bronze can run fine in midlength systems, but may not. The chamber-pressures it generates are generally pretty low, compared to 5.56 pressures (Example: https://www.m4carbine.net/showthread.php?t=123377).

I'd disregard the magazine until you 1) lube the hell out of your BCG, 2) get some 5.56 ammo, try shooting it again, and see what happens. That said, doing THAT with a known-good mag surely wouldn't hurt...

You stole my answer... PMC Bronze will not cycle in my middy at all with an H buffer and is unreliable with a carbine buffer. If you're already using a carbine buffer and are deadset on using PMC bronze and weak .223 loads, may I suggest investing in a reduced power spring?

That sounds like a C-Products mag. Toss that POS, load up the Pmag and douse your BCG with gun oil and go shootin'.

You mean a $12.00 mag that your LGS is charging $50 dollars for!

That what I was thinking... LGS takes the Pmag out sells it for a premium and sticks the OP with the "new" aluminum mag.

Update: I went to the range today with the PMAG that came with the DD (just to make this doubly clear, my LGS did not rip me off, I left my pmag at home by accident and only had their "free" aluminum mag in the gun case when I got there) and it fired just fine. I did also use a Tapco polymer magazine just for kicks and that one jammed a bit as well. Im assuming DDs are just picky when it comes to which magazine they take. It fired just fine with the PMC bronze .223 ammo in a pmag. Either way, for my peace of mind, im going to take it to the gunsmith of the gun shop I purchased it from with all 3 mags and tell him to make sure its completely functional (I need this peace of mind if im going to rely on this gun for my life).

Thanks for all your posts guys!

So what is the local gunsmith going to do that you didn't? Just buy quality mags and that gun will work. I would take it to any gunsmith unless it malfunctions with all different magazines.

Realistically, nothing. Like I said, it's more of a peace of mind thing. I want to make sure that this gun is in complete working order before I put it next to my bed.

If letting someone else put very few rounds through your rifle well make you feel better then ok. I wouldn't pay money for that test that's for sure.

I respect your opinion, if you would consider my position however; it's not that I would pay a plumber to put a few rounds through my rifle, it's that im paying a gunsmith (someone who should be very experienced) to check it over that is what will make me feel better.
