    Refinish a suppressor?

    What will hold up to the heat that I can apply easily?

    I'm thinking I might just throw some flat black BBQ rattlecan paint on it.....

    I think rsilvers said that bbq paint is somewhat brittle. I'd guess that you could probably afford a fresh coat each range trip however.

    I have flat black Norrells on my M42000 Mod 07 right now. I haven't shot it much with it on there but it's easy to respray if it does in fact burn off.

    Ionbond PVD or Melonite, anything else will be temporary and place you right back in the position after a few months.

    Be careful with tan though, you have to touch it up often if you are shooting high round count days...your tactical tan turns into "pretty pink" after your class is done

    Have we confirmed that ION Bond can accept Suppressors in to have them refinished?
