    Any big cities in Montana?

I like the outdoors, but I like cities too. And Montana sounds lovely.

    Billings, I reckon. Population ~100,000.

    Next four largest cities are:
Missoula (home of UM) at ~65,000.
Great Falls (home of Malmstrom AFB) ~60,000.
    Bozeman (home of MSU) ~35,000.
    Helena (state capital) ~30,000.

HB 304 was vetoed by Gov. Steve Bullock last Friday. It was the last day for him to do so before it became law automatically.

HB 240 still needs to be heard in the House, but, as I posted ,has been completely gutted in the Senate.

Governor Steve Bullock vetoed a number of bills passed by the 2013 Montana legislature yesterday, including HB240 which would have allowed students to have guns on college campuses and HB205 which would have allowed hunters to use sound-suppresion devices on firearms.

Lot of bluster about gun rights during this legislative session, but nothing substantive seems to have survived.

Time to get on the horn with Reps and Senators to overturn the vetoes.

I raged a bit when I heard that.

I think Bullock is going to be a one-term governor, although it might be too early to tell.

Out of curiosity, is Steve Bullock related to the famous Montana and South Dakota lawman Seth Bullock?

You know, I have no idea.

I would tend to assume not, else someone would have brought it up at some point. (TR is treated as somewhat of a lesser messiah around these parts. So if it were the case, someone almost certainly would have brought it up.)

Another state without the liberal do-gooders! More options to move to when I can finally leave. Bumping this thread was a nice reminder that there are still good folks out there.

I'm stuck in CT for now and let me tell you, being surrounded by these idiots makes you sick.
