I purchased an Aero Lower and obviously it fits with the Aero Upper It fits very very nice and snug and lines up perfectly, I love it

Yes, neither measures out of spec. Both were sent to the company that made the upper. they are replacing the upper with one hand picked to fit.

Nothing I've seen has stated AO Precision and Aero Precision have ever been connected in any way. There may be something I missed but I don't believe so... I've done a few dozen builds with AP uppers and/or lowers without a hitch. Definitely on my GTG list.

Reason I say it is because my mega uppers won't close on my aero lowers unless I back the receiver extension out one turn. Not sure why, as they fit perfectly on mega lowers, but it is what it is for some reason.
I like to forward my receiver extensions/buffer tube so that the upper WON'T fit. I then lightly file until the tube is "matched" to the upper. You then it a REAL tight fit with no wiggle what so ever.
