Yep... I'll never forget the guy I ran into at the range... had NO interest in sbring or buying a can for his.

Was happy blasting away with a loud ass brake and 115 gr UMC ammo.

I have a AA 7.5 upper. I have it on a pistol setup. I'm sending off my first form 1 to use it. On my pistol it seems to function just fine. Mine was a little tight at first but a few hundred rounds and proper lubrication got it running reliably.

I have one on my sbr. I love it. At first I could only shoot factory loads but I foundout my dies were worn out. I wanted a mp5/hk94 ooriginally but after seeing the prices it was 1/4 the price to build a 7.5" ar.

My friend has the 7.5 Adams piston upper and I hate that thing with a passion it shoots nice, if you like rattling your teeth out. He has a bad habit of shooting that thing to close to other people feels like you have a concussion when your done

I agree it has a large concussion but depending on the break you use it can be directed away from the shooter and spectators. The fire pig and the dpms breaks work well. Just find one that directs all the blast out front. Sorry but its what I found works best and helps with any cycling issues you may have.

So, give or take, a 10.5 is said to correctly frag out to about 100yds, right?

Does a 7.5 even have the velocity to correctly frag, say XM193, at the muzzle? I wanted to go shorter than 10.5, but just couldn't justify the lack of usability. It'd be a range toy at best.

I'd rank 7.5" 556 right up there with Subsonic 556 in terms of uselessness.

I don't even like 10" guns compared to 11"-12", so to go down to 7.5" is just nonsense. 300blk or pistol caliber for PDWs under 10".

    Is 200% noticeable?

I don't know hat it's exactly 200% could be more! I've only fired a 7.5" 556 once and hated it, so I'm not an expert, but my 12.5" was a solidly nothing like it
