We miss you, AC.
We miss you, ToddG.
He's saying people are price gouging for LWRC rifles, but found a single SR-15 at a reasonable (for now) price.
It's like people saying "My Bushmaster is awesome and works 100%" but in this case we can't hit him with the "One case does not a reputation make" thwapstick because LWRC has cooties.
TLDR: Nothing relevant to this thread.

I think the problem with the above comparison is that the KAC is being sold by NWA Tactical which I believe is affiliated with Kensek Gun Works. A google search should confirm that they do not have a good reputation. That may be the reason why the KAC is selling for less.
Kensek has a less than stellar reputation. If they're affiliated, I'd be wary at the very least.
They share the same address. Have different phone numbers, and they also have the same web design.
For the record, I have never dealt with them personally. I live two hours away from them. Several friends I trust have warned me not to do business with them unless I confirm the item is in stock, and go up there, hand them the money, and receive the product.
Maybe they are gtg on gunbroker. That was the only rational explanation I could see for an LWCi being more than a KAC.
Go to their websites. I was able to add a complete KAC lower, and a taupe SR15 to my checkout cart. I don't have the guts to let them charge my cc, which according to many, they do immediately. Maybe they have both in stock, but in this environment, I find it hard to believe.

Today was my anniversary...one year since I pre-ordered LWRC's M6IC. It had been "released" during Shot Show 2012 and was forecast to be delivered in May 2012. Current wisdom is that, since releasing the IC, LWRC received a large order from a foreign military, and that they sidelined the IC to fill this order. May came and went, and LWRC forecast the IC for summer 2012, then August, then September, then, then, then... For several months, they've been pushing back the delivery date 2-3 weeks every 2-3 weeks. Then it was early December, then by Christmas, then they absolutely had to be delivered before Shot Show 2013 because, can you imagine trying to sell more IC's at Shot 2013 when you first released them at Shot 2012 and hadn't delivered a single one? Since Shot 2013 came and went, LWRC is virtually silent about when the IC's will be ready. No one dares ask on their forum, lest the thread be deleted, as threatened by the moderators.
LWRC says they have a backlog of 75,000 rifles and are shipping 2000 commercial rifles per month. Meanwhile on their YouTube videos from Shot 2013, they are promising deliveries in 25-30 weeks. You do the math. Oh, and their latest policy requires $500 deposits for all rifle orders - $500 deposits that are nonrefundable for any reason, including any future government bans on such rifles that might be enacted before you receive your order.
