Blackhawk Warrior Wear Desert Ops boots - issue & followup

I posted a thread not long ago about the BlackHawk Warrior Wear Desert Ops boots that I had purchased. The boots were proving to be VERY comfortable and functonal boots. I used them in a class this past weekend, and the weather was a bit inclimate. These boots are supposed to be waterproof, but turned out to have a slight leak somewhere. This was a bit disappointing, as I was really liking them. I sent an email out to BlackHawk yesterday, detailing the issue and asking if this was normal for these, or if mine had a problem, etc.

Now, for the most part I am not a big fan of BlackHawk, but as said, I did like these boots. I have to give credit where its due though. After sending out the email yesterday afternoon, I received a very nice reply this morning, and they are sending me out a replacement pair and a RMA# to return these. I am one who doesnt expect anything man made to be perfect. I do however look for a company to stand behind their products and look at how they handle customer service and such. I must give credit to Blackhawk here as they really handled this beyond my expectations.

Glad to hear they are taking care of you!

I am going to have to pick up a pair of those later this year....much to my wife's chagrin! She thinks I have too many boots....is that even possible?

Just open her closet door, and ask her if she REALLY wants to go there about you having too many.... Thats what I did.

She's pretty thrifty when it comes to shoes. She doesn't have too many and she is REALLY good at finding bargains at the Goodwill.

True, but I suppose as long as she doesn't see the collection, she may never notice.....
