Your best bet is to check Gunbroker. They sell so quickly once they hit dealer shelves it's hard to tell what models they are producing at the moment.

    My 6920 has shipped

I backordered a 6920, 6720, or 6940 - whatever came in back on 11 Jan. Got an email 3 days ago my M4 was in inventory and to send FFL. Wrote back and asked what model. LE 6920 for 995 + $17 shipping. Today it shipped. Couldn't believe they held to original price.

Now I wonder what will be in the box - carry handle, Rogers stock, mbus rear, what?

FYI - i I have a Busshy Dissy made during the ban when they were good ones - fixed handle, A2 stock, no flash hider. Always wanted a detachable handle for an optic and flash hider. May sell it while prices high. Really hoped for a 6720, but don't know why. Lots of dolled up models coming in.

I think this is a good move on Colt's part.

I received two back ordered 6920's last week. The date on the bags the guns were packed in was March 13, 2013 for both guns.

Both are marked "M4" on the receiver. They have the Rogers stock and the MagPul BUIS.

The Rogers stock is functional. But will be replaced with MagPul STR's.

This is my first experience with the MagPul BUIS. I've always used the Troy folding battle sight.

I have to say, the more time I spend with the MagPul BUIS, the more I like them. I really like the price of the MagPul vs. the Troy's. And either way, it's a back up sight, not the primary sight.

I don't miss not having the cleaning kit, or the fixed carry handle. Both would have just ended up in a box, in storage anyway.

Each gun came with one 30rd gen2 PMAG, which I use. The older guns came with two aluminum 20 rd mags, which I never really used at all.

I for one, prefer the 2013 version of the 6920 to the packaging of the earlier version.

These guns will have Aimpoint PRO's installed, function tested, and then they will be put away for my kids.

I wish Colt had roll marks with "M4" or "M4Carbine" w/cal. 5.56 below. It seems to be either or 6920 vs. the SOCOM model.

The 2013 model 6920 has exactly that rollmark. I bought one a couple of months ago

Is this what you are looking for?
