If you got it from a dealer/gun shop they probably removed it when they put it on display.

May I ask why you say that?
I was thinking of doing the opposite thing, but I decided against it because gas prices went up and the MBUS technically works fine.

They have stopped shipping the guns with the removeable carry handle and now use the Magpul MBUS 2.

They have stopped including the cleaning kit and sling. Instead of the two 20rd USGI mags, you now get one (black) M3 PMAG.

The rifle looks fine as is. I would not change out the MBUS. I would buy an Aimpoint, Otis cleaning kit, a decent sling, some spare magazines and run with it.

So as colt doesn't chf barrels, what exactly do you want from colt, a receiver set?

Pretty sure that's a MOE 30rd PMAG, not an M3. Just sayin'.

    MBUS should be a Troy.

The bottom sling mount on the FSB is worthless.

The cleaning kit should be included. It is needed in the field, if you want to knock out a stuck case in the chamber. I always have one in my bag. Can use it for any gun on any hunting or shooting trip. I use it about once a year to save myself or someone else and it always happens at the wrong time.

I'd rather have two 20 round OEM aluminum magazines than one 30 rd PMAG.

OEM 20 round aluminum are always in demand. PMAG are a dime a dozen.

This set up is much more "average gun owner" oriented.

They forgot the colored roll mark and adhesive peel-off protectors for the brass deflector.

Honestly, they should sell one that comes with non-FF KAC rail, CAR stock, Matech/KAC (300m) rear, ambi magazine release, ambi safety, Surefire light + mount, 2 point sling of some sort, and an Aimpoint M2 in QRP mount as a package.

Like the Bravo EAG tactical package. Or something.

They should do some sort of package like that.

(An LE6920SOCOM with 14.5'' barrel, non-FF KAC rail, and CAR stock alone would be great.)
    We miss you, AC.
